Pirate101 School Themed Houses, Gifting, Yum-n-ade and much more!

Ahoy Pirates!

Today Kingsisle released so many great things that I can't even blog about all of them. So I picked a few things to blog about.. Gifting, the new Pirate101 school houses and Ryan the RelentlessYum-n-ade. Kingsisle never fails to impress me with their major updates on Pirate101 but this one was beyond what I was expecting!

Pirate101 Themed Houses

Pirate101 released school themed houses with this huge update. There's a Pirate101 school themed house for each school: Witchdoctor, Buccaneer, Swashbuckler, Privateer and Musketeer. These school houses cost 10,000 Crowns or 100,000 Gold in the Crowns Shop. So far I've explored three of these houses and I really do love them. I've explored the Witchdoctor house (as seen above), the Privateer house and the Swashbuckler house. This is the craziest/best houses I've seen on both Wizard101 and Pirate101. If you didn't know by now, usually Kingsisle releases PvP houses with Bundles. This time it was different; there's PvP in every single one of these houses! If you have a house full of party guests and want something to do while showing off your new house.. you can PvP! These houses are really nice houses and I'm pretty sure every Pirate love them! Thank you Kingsisle for these wonderful houses. You can also enjoy a new teleporter that you can use to teleport between each of your houses! The teleporters costs 2,500 Crowns.. (look below). The teleporter below is only one of the eight teleporters!

Gifting

Kingsisle also added gifting to this update! You can gift a friend by clicking on the crowns shop icon at the top left corner of your screen. Once you're in the Crowns Shop you can click the gift icon if its highlighted red and white. If its grey then you can't gift that item to a friend! Gifting is such a great idea for packs or even pets as you see above! Thank you Kingsisle for adding gifting. Now to tell everyone nicely, if you're planning on asking for a gift ask nicely the first. If they say no, its not the end of the world(s)! Please don't beg because that does get annoying and no one will end up gifting you. That's just a little bit of advice from me. Otherwise... I hope you enjoy gifting! This is another update I'm glad Kingsisle added to the game!

Ryan's Yum-n-ade

A few days ago Kingsisle made a blog post, Ryan The Relentless, Kingsisle invited Ryan through the Make-A-Wish organization to Kingsisle. Ryan has cancer and his escape is Pirate101, which is his favorite online game! Kingsisle invited him down to visit the offices of Kingsisle/Pirate101 and they invited him to look around and work with the Kingsisle team. This is the nicest thing I've ever heard a game company do! Before I was done reading the blog post, I noticed that Kingsisle tricked Ryan into saying a few lines and surprised him with something everyone reading would love. To be in the game! They made a Yum-n-ade stand just for him in Skull Island and each time you go up to Ryan the Relentless you'll hear Ryan and the lines Kingsisle gave him. This is very nice. I'm glad Kingsisle let him do that I'm positive all of his wishes and more came true just for that. Ryan the Relentless is in Skull Island and each time you visit him, you'll have to pay 100-200 gold and you'll get to restore your health if you've just been defeated in battle.

Click the image above for more updates Kingsisle added to the game such as Mini-Game Kiosks where you can play mini-games in your own house! Unstitching for the gear you wish to unstitch gear you don't want to be stitched anymore (I know I have a few gears I need to unstitch today). Kingsisle has also made a few more crowns shop updates such as a Long Term Boost elixir if you're tired of refueling your ship and would rather have a potion that'll give you unlimited boost on your Pirate ship. Pirate101 Zazzle Store!

Ahoy Pirates!

I'm sure I'm about a day late posting this, but since I was busy and I have time now.. I'm going to post about it! Kingsisle/Pirate101 announced yesterday that they opened an official Pirate101 Zazzle Store. There's quite a few things you can buy from this online store: Pirate101 T-Shirts, Pirate101 Posters, Pirate101 Mousepads and even a Pirate101 Pacifier! Ye'll have to check out all of these and so much more by clicking on this image to the right. I know I'm going to get that Pirate101 T-Shirt.. I've been a crazy Pirate since then. I have to get all of my treasure together and buy that shirt. :D

Ryan the Relentless!

Ahoy Pirates,

Today there have been a few awesome Pirate101 news updates. One of which was Ryan, an 11 year old boy got to visit Kingsisle/Pirate101 through the Make-A-Wish organization! I have to say... that is the nicest thing Kingsisle could ever do for anyone. Kingsisle also let Ryan record for a new NPC in the game, Ryan the Relentless, that'll sale Yum-n-ade on the game soon. Ye'll also get to hear Ryan's voice! I'm glad Kingsisle had him visit; I'm pretty sure he was and still is very happy that you made a dream come true for him! My thoughts on Wizard101's Aquila

Hello Wizards!

You don't have to worry. This is far from a rant post! Its actually a thank you post to Kingsisle. I'm very glad Kingsisle released a fun world that most wizards can participate in and there's no need to worry about leveling quickly to be on time for the next level cap world. I was expecting this world to have a new level cap but it doesn't. It does have so many things I've been wanting for so long! I've been playing on the test realm for more than 4 hours (longest I've played on the test realm since Zafaria), I couldn't believe all of the new great things they've released. New Gear, Minions for all schools, pets, epicness. We also get to farm a boss in Dragonspyre for new spells! I'm glad Kingsisle added this world because it gives them more time to work on the next level cap (90-100). This update also gives us time to farm for gold, new epic gear/weapons, pets, and new spells. I have to say I love everything single thing about Wizard101's Aquila and I don't see one problem with it. It looks like after so many years all of my, STOP KI, you're releasing the worlds way too fast to anyone to level, is behind me and I'm thinking of the bright future. I wasn't really trying to be rude, I just thought the 6 month time release was way too fast. This time KI waited about 8-9 months to release Aquila and its a side world? I think its turning out to be like old times, which is great! I can't wait until this world is released to the live game. If anyone complains, they are just upset that KI is too epic to release a world every second. :P They should take their time, the more time they take.. the more polished their next update will be. Okay... Well, that's my thoughts on Aquila. I'll talk more about this new world once its released to the live game. :D See ya'll around the Spiral.

Best Dressed Contest (Pirate101)

Ahoy Pirates,

I've been thinking so much about the perfect contest. Before now, I was thinking of a raffle.. scratched that out, then favorite place in the spiral.. also scratched that out. I decided to have a Best Dressed Contest that everyone can participate in! This won't be a difficult contest at all since I love all of the gear on the game. I think it'll be a fun contest for everyone. :D

Best Dressed Contest- Contest starts today and ends on July 26th 12:00 P.M. CST

Three steps to take for the contest:

• Step 1: Get your gear together- Before you take a picture of yerself on Pirate101. Make sure ye have the gear ye want to wear. Ye can farm for gear, or just buy the gear you think is the coolest in the Bazaar. Don't spend all of yer gold.. a Pirate always needs his or her treasure! There's no need to worry about buying any gear from the crowns shop. Talents aren't needed. Its only a best dressed contest on style. How cool can ye make your Pirate look? All levels are welcomed to enter.
• Step 2: Take your picture and Submit- Once you're done finding your gear, get ready to take that picture. There's no specific places you have to take yer picture. Ye can take it anywhere ye would like to take it. Before you take yer picture, press CTRL and G. After yer done pressing that press the PRT SC key on your keyboard to take a picture. Ye'll then have a picture. After that ye'll need to email me (edwardfrostgem@gmail.com) with yer entry. Make the subject of the entry Best Dressed Contest. If ye didn't include your name in the picture, please include your name and level with the email along with the picture. I only want ONE picture. One entry per person. 
• Step 3: Do you have any questions? If ye have any questions please send the questions to edwardfrostgem@gmail.com or just comment below! I'll answer all of yer questions and will help you with any trouble yer having!
• Step 4: Wait until the contest ends- This contest starts today and ends July 26th at 12:00 P.M. CST. All winners will be announced during the afternoon. Ye can no longer enter after 12:00 P.M. CST that day. There will be a Grand Prize Winner, 1st Prize Winner, 2nd Prize Winner, Third Prize Winner and a Fourth Prize Winner (see more information below).
